Welcome to Kingdom of doodley-dooo Rust!
A 10-man raiding guild on Aerie Peak EU.

Well, Kingdom of Rust as a raiding guild has officially come to an end after what I think was a very good year and a half!
We cleared all Ulduar hardmodes, were fairly unimpressed by Trial of the Crusader, and, our crowning glory, killed the Lich King himself before bashing in all of his lieutenants on Heroic mode!
Cataclysm was a game changer for us, and sadly meant a lot of old friends decided to hang up their staves, swords and bows (no one had guns 'cos guns ain't cool Dalno!)
However, fun times were had - special mention to slacker Goaty for earning his "Epic" achievement halfway through ICC hard modes! And also to our "special huntards" continually proving every raid why hunters get that name!
All of us came from the humble roots of Ascendo Tuum, so I thought I'd share this shot of (a few of) us standing at the Dark Portal, all of us young, fresh level 70s, all of us "Champions of the Naaru", all eagerly awaiting what Northrend would bring us!
Good luck to you all and take care!

We're not in Kansas anymore Toto....
Well, it turns out we're not in Wrath of the Lich King anymore - progress bosses actually take more than 4 wipes to get the kill!
Thankfully, Kingdom of Rust raiders proved that wipes don't matter, and this week went and scored 2 new bosses - Atramedes and our good buddies, the Twilight Council!
Congrats to all the team, keep the momentum going, and we'll soon be facing down the tier bosses, let's do it!

Well, with a title like that who wouldn't want to be dead? (Only, he isn't all that dead it seems as he showed up as a ghost later on...)
Anyways, he was dead enough for our purposes! Gratz to all on yet another bosskill, Maloriak of the Blackwing Descent.
And here we all are, farting in the same general direction - screenshot posing progress! :P
The night had started with a clean kill of the worm Magmaw in which we snagged ourselves a little achievement too!
Well done ranged people for the fast and mess-less killing of small nasty things!

'Twas a dark and stormy night but the raiders in KoR were safely snuggled up inside the Bastion of Twilight where we fought the pretty purple and pink dragons Theralion and Valiona. Together in life they were, and together in death they are.
Good job all!
But the night was not over. We exited the Bastion and headed for a sunnier climate and even more altitude - the Throne of the Four Winds and the three djinns which were guarding it.
As shown in this kill shot, killing bosses is one thing, managing to gather up on the same platform is another!
Still, good fun, good fight and again good job all!

After being flabbergasted at the massive tank damage going out at Halfus Wyrmbreaker and his cronie dragonettes and being very very dead a few times we got our act together and made the huge giant took a nap on the stone floor!
Congratulations to Karrien for the pretty pretty Essence of the Cyclone and to Faster for Legguards of the Emerald Brooch and a big huge thank you well done to the lot of us! :)
Also coming up soon, a video of the encounter!

Back into Blackwing Descent to dance with the Om nom noms we went. Twirling this way and that, weaving a complex dance pattern, the Trons eventually got sore feet and decided to have a little lie down.
Congratulations to all for a lovely dance night and to Ogle for the feather-shedding Passive Resistor Shoulderpads and to Scan dah Man for the Electron Inductor Coils.

In the very very last attempt for the night everything clicked and the KoR raiders emerged victoriously from the jaws of Magmaw (some literally!) in Blackwing Descent.
Awesome team effort!
Congratulations to all and to Scanmaster for the lovely lethal Lava Spine and to Aneci for a hot pair of Flame Pillar Leggings!

So, our old buddy from AT who's been lost in the wilderness of some foreign server finally came home - welcome back Tessy!
And not just that, she helped our 2 little hunters finally get their ICC drakes, only 2 months after the rest of the guild got em!
Ah well, better late than never!
